Our Story

Whirlybird Coffee Co was founded and established by Liz and Loralie Wallerius in the summer of 2022. A mom and daughter not looking to start a coffee shop, but rather to purchase some equipment from a closing bakery. Their hearts fell in love with the place and the Lord made a way for them to open Whirlybird Coffee Co on July 11, 2022. In the spring of 2026 Britany Anderson, a former student of Loralie’s, asked her for guidance as she pursued opening up her own coffee shop. Here again the Lord made a way in His perfect way of doing things. Britany purchased Whirlybird Coffee Co with a heart for Whirlybird and to see it grow. Whirlybird Coffee Co exists to provide a place for people to come, get some quality coffee, all the while feeling welcomed and loved. Whirlybird is here for the customers 🤍
